So, this is what I am troubled by today (yesterday it was the disappointing non-deliciousness of root beer vodka) - Walk-in tub...sounds like a great idea. But, it looks like you would have to get in, close door, then run the water. That's a long time to sit there waiting to take a bath while the tub fills. And then you have to wait until it is almost empty to get out. This tub is aimed mostly at the elderly - I don't really think they have that kind of time to waste. Also, what if you have to get out in a hurry, let's say to pee or get a snack? There just seem to be so many things that the walk-in tub creators did not think of in regard to practicality. I really don't understand why people everywhere to not run their ideas by me before the jump in all willy-nilly, wasting people's time and flooding their houses.

So they're what, to take whatever meds they need to, then pee, then hurry to take their bath and allow enough time for filling, washing, then draining...before they need more meds and to pee again? Seriously, you should be in charge of the patent office so you could nix these silly ideas from the start.

I've had the same thought before. My guess that they have a super power way of filling and emptying the tub. I don't need know side door on my tub, but super power filling--that I want!
ReplyDeleteMy parents have one of these. No superpower filling. I told my mom she needs a step-ladder thing so she can fill it, then climb in when it's ready, take her bath and then climb back out while I drains. She said if she could do all that, she wouldn't need a walk-in tub in the first place. Also, they needed to get a tankless water heater or else they ran out of hot water before the thing filled up.
